Improving Recovery: A Concentrate Management Strategy for Inland Groundwater Desalination
Project Summary:
The objective of the proposed research is to develop strategies to increase the recovery in reverse osmosis (RO) desalination of brackish groundwater. The researchers will investigate two possible systems to enhance recovery in conventional RO systems: anti-scalant deactivation and precipitation, and electrodialysis.
